HPV vaccination program inaugurates in Itna

Itna (Kishoreganj) Correspondent HPV vaccination program was inaugurat- ed in Itna upazila of Kishoreganj district. Itna Upazila Parishad Chairman Chowdhury Kamrul Hasan, Itna Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Abu Riad, Itna Upazila Health and Welfare Officer Dr. Atish Das Rajeev inaugu- rated the program by administering the vaccine to the students of Mahesh Chandra Model Government Education Niketan on October 15th at 11 am. "Take one dose of HPV vaccine, pre- vent cervical cancer", the HPV vaccina- tion program was started in Etna Upazila like the rest of the country. HPV vaccina- tion will be given to 8 thousand 7 hun- dred and 18 girls of Itna upazila aged 10 to 14 years. Mahesh Chandra Model Education Niketan Headmaster Mohammad Abu Bakkar Siddique, Itna Upazila Sanitary Inspector Md Anisur Rahman Kiran, Itna Upazila Journalist Union President Md Shahed Ali, General Secretary Mao Tajul Islam, Itna Upazila Farmers League General Secretary Md Bazlur Rahman etc. were present.
